Hello! We’re GRLTLK, best friends Kay and Stacey; we play records in clubs for people to dance to! We’re also Sŵn veterans, having gone to every single one between us.

We’ve got some special musical memories from Sŵn over the years, from watching Gallops for the first time in Barfly and Los Campesinos! in The Gate to Catfish and the Bottlemen in Dempseys and Waxahatchee in The Angel Hotel.

Last year we hosted a stage featuring an eclectic mix of genres, from experimental electronica Pixx to the soulful Jodie Abacus and disco queens Ekkah. We’re proud to say this year is more of the same.

So come find us at Clwb Ifor Bach on Saturday, pick our brains about our Sŵn favourites, let us cover your face in glitter and most importantly; come see the incredible acts we have for you this year!

ELLIE MAKES MUSIC

https://www.facebook.com/elliemakesmusic/

We’ve watched Ellie grow as an artist since her teens and now she has a wealth of songs and some amazing musical accomplishments to boot. Her voice hints of an early Taylor Swift, with story-telling lyrics reminiscent of Country greats and guitar playing echoing Laura Marling.

BOSSY LOVE

https://www.facebook.com/bossylovemusic/

This ‘Tropical RnB’ duo have been rising fast since releasing their first single ‘Want Some’ earlier this year, with the likes of Beats1, KISS FM, 1XTRA and Radio 1 all wanting a piece of the action. You might also recognise that one half of Bossy Love is no other than ex Dananananakroyd’s drummer John Ballie Junior, a GRLTLK/SWN favourite!

For fans of AlunaGeorge, electronic pop, and 90’s RnB.

FENNE LILY

Delicate and full of honesty, Fenne brings her folk roots to our stage. Softly sung, you hang on every word, as she encompasses you with her story of heartache and honesty. Previously supporting the likes of Marika Hackman and KT Tunstall, Fenne is in great company!

BRYDE

Formally part of Paper Aeroplanes, Sarah’s new outfit is bigger and grittier. Clash recently commented “ The newcomer’s raw yet deeply personal style recalls early PJ Harvey, while her lyrical wit sits alongside Courtney Barnett”, couldn’t have said it any better ourselves. Enjoy.

CASI

https://www.facebook.com/casimusic/

Casi mixes her distinctive welsh vocal to experimental electronic pop to create a huge wall of sound which at times can sound both haunting and uplifting. If you’re fans MO then you’re in the right place, as this lady is supporting her just a few days before the festival!

SHELLS

https://www.facebook.com/shellsmusicnet/

Warm and soulful, with intense vocal harmonies. The music is sparse, mixing electronica and strings creating something new, eerie and exciting. With vocals reminding us of Jessie Ware and Lapsley mixed with the musical prowess of Banks, Shells is definitely one to watch.
